The spectacular "Under the Sea" theme, complimented by dancers, skaters and an aerial performer, provided the perfect back drop to celebrate excellence in the tourism industry!
A full list of winners and medallists is available on the TCWA website. All category winners will now go on to represent WA at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards in Hobart in February and we wish them the best of luck!

Business Opportunity for Whiteman Park
|
|
Situated in the Swan Valley, Whiteman Park is a Government owned, major recreation and conservation Park with a tourist and local visitor market. The Park has experienced an annual average visitation increase of 11% in recent years and in 2008/09 had an estimated 790,000 visits.
An appropriate tennant is sought for one of the Park's "Village" buildings which has become vacant. Consideration will be given to both not for profit operations and businesses that will add to the quality of the visitor experience.
The Park is already host to major attractions including Caversham Wildlife Park, Revolutions, Motor Museum of WA, operating electric trams and steam trains, pottery, art, craft and food outlets. This current opportunity includes a quality building of approximately 120sm adjacent to the Park Cafe and offers potential for a wide range of retail, hire, micro-production operations.
